Bespoke Freestanding Tiled Basin & Sink

The freestanding basin is Jacko's floor-standing, self-contained tiled washbasin — a pedestal basin unit built as one sculptural piece rather than a sink floating on a bracket. It's commissioned for bathrooms where the basin itself is the centrepiece, not just a fixture against the wall.

Every freestanding basin is hand fabricated from premium Spanish and Italian porcelain, hand cut and mitred to wrap cleanly around the full form of the pedestal. As with all Jacko basins, the internal bowl is tanked for waterproofing before tiling, and every external corner is resin sealed for a smooth, durable finish. We fabricate on Wedi or Jackoboard tile backer board, and because the freestanding form is more complex than a wall-mounted basin, each commission takes longer in the studio to get right.
