Marble Effect Basins

Marble effect porcelain is one of the most popular finishes we fabricate — the depth and veining of natural marble, without the maintenance or the price tag of quarried stone. Every marble effect basin is hand fabricated from premium porcelain tile, cut and mitred so the veining runs continuously across the bowl and surround, rather than breaking at every join.

We've fabricated basins in a full range of marble effect tones — from bold Calacatta gold-veined white, through soft cream and travertine tones, to moodier sage green and dark marble finishes. Because every basin is made to order, you choose the exact marble effect tile, and we specify the cut and layout to make the veining flow as naturally as possible across the piece.

As with every Jacko basin, the internal bowl is tanked for waterproofing before tiling begins, and every external corner is resin sealed for a smooth, hairline-free finish. We fabricate on Wedi or Jackoboard tile backer board, and each basin takes around 20 hours in the studio from first cut to final seal.
