Tiled Sinks

A tiled sink is Jacko's starting point — a washbasin built entirely from hand cut porcelain tile, rather than moulded as one solid piece. It's the reason people find us: nobody else in the UK is tiling a sink and surround as a single, fully integrated unit quite like this.

Every tiled sink begins with premium Spanish or Italian porcelain, hand cut and mitred so the tile pattern wraps cleanly around every curve, corner and edge. Internally, the bowl is tanked before tiling starts — a waterproofing step most tiled sink makers skip — and every external corner is resin sealed for a smooth, durable, hairline-free finish. We fabricate on Wedi or Jackoboard tile backer board throughout, and a single tiled sink takes around 20 hours in the studio from first cut to final seal.

Because each piece is made to order, you specify the tile, the colour, the size and the bowl profile yourself — nothing here is picked from a shelf.
